Wally World Dad

Massive day at Six Flags Magic Mountain. People everywhere. Of the thousands of males in the park, I was the only one without a drug cartel moustache and tattoos. We were all tired and a bit grumpy to begin with, but once the adrenalin started to flow things got better.

Many of the big rides had multi hour waits. We missed many of them. We still rode some rippers. Since we are season pass holders, we may sneak in tomorrow and ride a couple first thing before we set off to the Hurricane Harbour water park. It's just next door.

We left at around 8.30 pm and the rides were still going and a DJ was spinning some discs. Not sure of official closing time. We thought it was 8.00 pm. Clearly not.

We had valet parking (a birthday present to Hannah in March) and a number of fizzy treats (a birthday present to Gracie in March). Pa also gave us some money to buy a fizzy. The kids bought massive slurpees with Pa's gift

Home via Walmart. Wouldn't want anyone to think you're only hearing best parts of our trip. So I should say that when Lara and I exited Walmart (9.30 pm) we found the boys charging around the busy carpark chasing Pokemon. (We had expected them to stay in the car). Gracie had also alighted from the car and looked as she was about to dash somewhere? Hannah was trying to pull it together following an argument with the aforementioned siblings.

Home for tea (cereal again) for most of the family and a cake to celebrate little George's third birthday. He's the son of our air bnb host family. Ace people.

Off to bed now - 10.30 pm.
